An authentic underwater research habitat is open to the average person, sport divers and even those who have never before dived. It has air-conditioning, hot showers, stereo music, VCR/DVD, a fully stocked galley, and unlimited diving for certified divers! Jules' Undersea Lodge is named after Jules Verne, and our goal is to be sure that Mr. Verne would be proud. |

Rangali Island Maldives A HOTEL is offering newlyweds the ultimate honeymoon suite - an underwater room with incredible views of the underwater kingdom. The wedding package at the Maldives Rangali Islands resort promises an unforgettable night below the Indian Ocean, complete with champagne breakfast and aquatic entertainment. Eliat Redsea Underwater Restaurant This amazing underwater restaurant, located in Eilat, Israel is 15 feet below the surface of the Red Sea, with thick Plexiglas windows that give you an octopus-eye view of the surrounding fish, corals, and other creatures. Not resting on its one-of-a-kind location and design, the Red Sea Star serves meals that are quite good. Dennis, a fish from the Red Sea, leads the list of well-prepared fish (though you may not feel comfortable dining on a sea creature while its family and friends glide past the windows). |
Utter Inn or in English, Otter Inn, is an art project by Mikael Genberg that offers underwater accommodation to the public. The facility is entered through a small, typical-appearing Swedish house located on the surface of the water. The only representation of this concept is, at this point, located in Lake Mälaren near the town of Västerås in Sweden.

Istanbul’s 7-Story Underwater Hotel to Open in 2010 Visitors to Istanbul will soon have a chance to view the most spectacular ocean views on the planet. A seven floor, seven-star hotel is being built underwater on what was formerly a tobacco factory. There will be exhibition halls, and restaurants, and all rooms will be sea facing. This isn't the first such underwater hotel complex in the world. That honor goes to the $500 million Poseidon Hotel which is currently being built off Fiji. The Istanbul hotel differs in that it is being built under the city center, which should make for an interesting experience. |
