Five oceanauts would live for a month in the Starfish base. Two of them would spend a week in the deep station.

Solar Floating Resort by Michele Puzzolante
The ship features a thin-film solar skin applied to a lightweight balsa-reinforced fiberglass hull. The round shape of the vessel provides constant exposure to the sun, feeding batteries during daylight hours to supply clean energy through the night. The interior skin is also layered in dye-sensitized thin-film PV to absorb artificial light at night, creating a 30mm vacuum with the outer layer.

Kihavah Maldives Anantara

Our signature Sea.Fire.Salt.Sky. dining complex is a one-of-a-kind over and under water dining concept, exclusive to Anantara Kihavah Villas. Gaze at angelfish playing along the colourful ocean floor, just metres from your table as you indulge in a decadent molten chocolate cake.
Lilypad floating city
Further to the anthropogenic activity, the climate warms up and the ocean level increases. According to the principle of Archimedes and contrary to preconceived notions, the melting of the arctic ice-floe will not change the rising of the water exactly as an ice cube melting in a glass of water does not make its level rise.

Zigloo - Gyre floating city

Gyre creates a new class of Eco-tourism by bringing scientists and vacationers together to understand what is the least known environment on our planet, the ocean. As much as a skyscraper is an economical method of reducing humankind’s footprint on land, Gyre goes a step further by juxtaposing that footprint to the ocean, and is perhaps its greenest feature.

Trilobus floating home

The main aim of the project is to allow anyone to live in a unique environment through a self-sufficient, nonpolluting dwelling that exists in unison with their ocean surrounding," Zema tells POPULAR MECHANICS. At first glance, the Trilobis looks as if it would be more at home soaring into the sky than plying the waters of atolls, bays and maritime parks.
