The Townsville Dolphins is a conservation management proposal to support the three species of dolphins resident in Cleveland Bay, off the coast of Townsville.

These dophins include the Bottlenose Dophin, the Indo-pacific Humpback Dolphin and the Snubfin Dolphin. Both the Indo-Pacific and the Snubfin Dolphins occupy a perilous conservation status as there is insufficient knowledge about their habits to justify Commonwealth resources for developing conservation management plans.

The initiative seek to raise $300,00 to provide two full time positions for a full time dolphin reasearcher plus a project officer to coordinate sponsorships and communications.
